Lewis K. "Lewie" Griffiths, 58 of Berwick, passed away unexpectedly, Sunday, November 1, 2015 at his residence. He was born July 30, 1957 in Worcester, MA., a son to Lewis R. and Janet E. (Trask) Griffiths. Lewie was well-known in Berwick. He worked in the paint department at G & B Specialties since 1987. His interests included Berwick Bulldog football and the annual Run for the Diamonds race. He had a passionate love for his Lord and Savior, which was exemplified through his involvement in church and community. A humble and caring man, he will be greatly missed by all who knew him. As well as his parents, he is survived by two sisters: Tami Oberrender and her husband, Travis of Bloomsburg and Lori Steiss and her husband, Scott of Colorado, five nieces and nephews, and companion, Caroline Moyer of Berwick.. A memorial service celebrating Lewie's life will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, November 28th at New Covenant Christian Church, 212 West 11th Street, Berwick. His pastor, Rick DiLena will serve as the celebrant.
