Kenneth L. Kulp

Kenneth L. Kulp, 76, of Berwick, passed away Friday, February 27, 2015 at Geisinger Medical Center Danville. He was born March 4, 1938 in Berwick, a son to the late Nelson B. and Grace E. (Michael) Kulp, Sr. Kenneth graduated from Berwick High School and worked most of his life as a welder. He retired after thirty-six years of service from the former Wayne W. Knorr Company. Hunting, especially for raccoons and deer, was among the most favorite of his pastimes. Kenneth also enjoyed fishing, NASCAR, professional wrestling, and tinkering with whatever needed repaired or adjusted. He was a devoted and loving father and grandfather, who always made time to be with his family and was always there to help them whenever he was needed. Surviving Kenneth are sons: Greg K. Kulp and his wife, Ramona of Stillwater, Jeffrey S. Kulp and his wife, Debra of Bloomsburg, and James D. Kulp and his companion, Linda of Berwick, daughters: Tammi J. Smith and her husband, Dennis of Berwick and Heather A. Kulp and her husband, James Leckie of Nescopeck, 14 grandchildren, many great-grandchildren, brothers: Nelson, Jr. and his wife, Nina, Alfred and his wife, Kandy, and Larry, Sr. and his wife, Bonnie, sisters: Shirley Shultz and Ruth Ann Keck, and numerous nieces and nephews, Kenneth's funeral is 11:00 AM Tuesday at the Kelchner-McMichael-Baker Funeral Home, 119-121 E. 3rd Street, Berwick. Friends can call from 9:00 AM until time of the service. Pastor Scott L. Lyons, Associate Pastor of Stillwater Christian Church will serve as the officiant. In lieu of flowers the family requests that contributions in Kenneth's memory be sent to the Wounded Warrior Project, 301 Grant St., Suite 900, Pittsburgh, PA. 15219.
