Kathleen Ann Bowers

Kathleen Ann Bowers, 64, of Berwick, passed into eternal life Friday, July 20, 2018 at her home, surrounded by her loving family. She was born July 17, 1954 in Kingston, the daughter of the late Carl and Esther Ann (Cheer) Guddy. Kathleen was a graduate of Wyoming Area High School, Class of 1973, and was most recently employed by First Columbia Bank of Bloomsburg. Surviving Kathleen is her loving husband of 20 years, Donald Bowers. Additionally surviving are her daughters: Kathleen Schuster and husband, Chris of Pittston, Candice Kocher and husband, Gene of Nanticoke, and Stacy White and husband, Fred of Plains, sons: Elwood Perry III and wife, Paula of Moscow, Robert Perry and wife, Dianna of Falls, father of her children, Elwood Perry, Jr. of Dupont, sisters: Rose Brown of West Pittston, Esther Field, of Mountain Top, Debra Brown of Kingston, and Jeanne Temple of Bloomsburg, step-daughters: Kierstie Keller of NH and Kelley Bowers of NJ, 13 grandchildren, one grandchild on the way, 2 great-grandchildren, and many loving nieces and nephews. As well as her parents, Kathleen was preceded in death by her brother, Carl F. Guddy, Jr. Kathleen's viewing are 2-4 and 6-8 PM Thursday, July 26th at the Kelchner-McMichael-Baker Funeral Home, 119-121 E. 3rd St., Berwick. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11 AM Friday, July 27th at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 721 Monroe St., Berwick. Father Matthew Larlick will serve as the celebrant. Entombment will be at Rose Lawn Cemetery. The family expresses its thanks to everyone for their prayers and generosity. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Kathleen's husband, Don Bowers at the First Columbia Bank of Bloomsburg or Commonwealth Home Health and Hospice, 109 W. 9th St., Berwick, PA.
