Jerry A. Whitenight, 70 of Berwick, passed away peacefully Wednesday, September 25, 2013 at his home. He was born November 20, 1942 in Berwick, a son to the late Harold and June (Southwick) Whitenight. A millwright and welder, he learned his trade at the Southwick family\'s machine shop and worked at the Berwick ACF, General Machine Company, and K-Fab before retiring. Jerry enjoyed hunting, Friday night poker games, fishing, and collecting antiques. He was a lifetime member of the West Berwick Hose Company and belonged to the Evansville United Methodist Church. Surviving Jerry are sons: Tim Whitenight of Berwick, Douglas Whitenight of Berwick, and Bradley Whitenight and his wife, Janna of Viola, DE., daughters: Melissa D Fisher and her husband, Craig of Berwick and Wendy Whitenight of Berwick, 7 grandchildren: Daniel Farrell, Rachel Farrell, Krystal Whitenight, Sarah Whitenight, Joshua Whitenight, Brayden Whitenight, and Avery Whitenight, brother, Tyler Whitenight of Berwick, numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins, and his companion, Rene Showers. As well as his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Kathy Whitenight and granddaughter, Norah June Whitenight. A memorial service celebrating Jerry\'s life will be held at 1:00 PM Sunday, September 29 at the West Berwick Hose Company Social Hall, 1433 Fairview Ave., Berwick. His pastor, Dennis Sitler will serve as the officiant.
