Jermel Antonio Johnson

Jermel Antonio Johnson, 40, of Berwick, passed away suddenly Friday, April 4, 2025. Born in Washington, D.C. on April 22, 1984, he was a son to Mitchell and Jeanette (Johnson) Starkey.

Jermel was a graduate of Bloomsburg High School, Class of 2002. He was employed by Sekisui Kydex in Bloomsburg. Jermel was an avid Redskins fan. He loved spending time with his children; whether fishing, playing video games, riding dirt bikes, or simply spending time together.

He will be greatly missed by his wife, Kayla Marie (Trenholm) Johnson, with whom he shared five years of marriage; his parents, Mitchell and Jeanette (Johnson) Starkey of Easton, MD; children: Gianna Aundrea Johnson, Jaecion Jermel Antonio Johnson, Janiyah Mone Johnson, and Sariyah Jeanette Johnson; brothers: Andre Moses and Moses Smith; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Jermel was preceded in death by his son, Jasiah Johnson, who passed away May 8, 2023.
