Jean Claire Fetterman

Jean Claire Fetterman, 90, formerly of Berwick, passed away peacefully Friday, September 2, 2016 at Elmcroft of Dillsburg, where she had resided since December, 2015. She was born in Berwick April 7, 1926, a daughter to the late William and Mae (Nuss) Henrie. Jean worked for many years at the former Sharping Shoe Store in Berwick. She also was an active member of the First Baptist Church of Berwick. Her interests included cooking, canning, sewing, and camping with her husband and friends. Surviving Jean are her son, Kurt Fetterman and wife, Paulette of Baldwinsville, N.Y. and daughter, Kim Stouffer and husband, Robert of Etters, PA. Also surviving Jean are four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. As well as her parents, Jean was preceded in death in 2008 by her loving husband of sixty-two years, Jennings H. "Jiggs" Fetterman. Jean's funeral is 11:00 AM Saturday, September 10 at the Kelchner-McMichael-Baker Funeral Home, 119-121 East Third Street, Berwick. Pastor Susan Knorr of Columbia Circuit United Methodist Charge will serve as the officiant. Friends may call at the funeral home from 10:00 AM until time of the service.
