Jane Ann Bush

Jane Ann Bush, 86 of Berwick, passed away peacefully Wednesday, January 8, 2014 at Maria Hall, Danville. She was born November 1, 1927 in Hazleton, the daughter of the late Calvin and Emma (Hall) Knyrim. A graduate of Hazleton High School in 1945, she worked for a number of years at Peoples National Bank of Hazleton and the Berwick Medicine Shoppe. Jane loved hiking, camping, crocheting and crossword puzzles. She also was a Meals on Wheel of Berwick volunteer. Surviving Jane are her loving husband of 63 years, Kenneth, son, Fred C. Bush and his wife, Sue of Maryland, daughters: Carolyn Bower and her husband, Donald of Catawissa and Beverly Zelenak of Colorado, four grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. Her memorial service is 11:00 AM Wednesday, January 29 at the McMichael-Rairigh & Baker Funeral Home, 119-121 East Third Street, Berwick. Pastor Ronald Hoffman of the First United Methodist Church of Berwick will serve as the officiant. Burial will follow at Pine Grove Cemetery.
