Berwick

Helen (Babich) Dalberto, 102, of Berwick, passed away peacefully Saturday, January 13, 2024 at Glen Brook Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center in Berwick.  Born in Berwick on July 9, 1921, she was a daughter to the late Samuel and Eva (Kostow) Babich.

She had also been employed by the Fulton Lamp Company.  Mrs. Dalberto was a faithful member of St. Joseph Catholic Parish.  She enjoyed crocheting and was an avid reader.  She was a gentle mother who loved unconditionally throughout her life.  She was not one to complain, no matter how much she was suffering.  She lived an exemplary life and will live on in the hearts of those who were so fortunate as to have known her.

Surviving Helen is her beloved daughter, Barbara Dalberto of Berwick, and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Helen was preceded in death by her husband, James P. Dalberto.  She was also preceded in death by brothers:  Peter, Stephen, and John Babich; and her sister, Mary Trapane.

Helen’s family would like to express thanks to the staff of Glen Brook Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center and Commonwealth Hospice of Berwick for the wonderful care they provided to her.
