Helen M. Creasy, 86, of Berwick, died Tuesday, March 14, 2017 at the Berwick Hospital Center Emergency Room. She was born February 18, 1931 in Bloomsburg, a daughter to the late William and Sara (Sponenberg) Klinger. Helen spent most of her working life as a seamstress. She enjoyed gardening and collecting porcelain dolls. A loving and caring wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, her favorite pastime was spending time with her family. Surviving Helen is her husband of 66 years, Fred Creasy. Additionally, she is survived by her daughters; Randy Sharrow of Berwick and Connie Bower and husband John, also of Berwick, granddaughters; Melanie Karpinski and husband David and Theresa Curry and husband Steve, great-grandson; Joey Bankes, brother; Richard Klinger, and sisters; Dorothy Buffone, Ethel Rough, and Gloria Allen. Preceding Helen in death were her granddaughters; Jennifer Bower and Angela Sharrow and brother; William Klinger. Helen's funeral will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, March 17, 2017 at the Kelchner-McMichael-Baker Funeral Home, 119-121 East Third Street, Berwick. Pastor Michael Delp will serve as officiant. Friends may call at the funeral home from 10:00 AM until the time of service. Burial will follow at the Pine Grove Cemetery.
