Harry E. Myers, 90, formerly of Mifflinville, Passed away Saturday, January 17, 2015 at Berwick Retirement Village, where he was a resident. He was born June 15, 1924 in Lime Ridge, a son to the late Thomas and Fannie (Boone) Myers. Harry worked at TRW in Danville before retiring. He also was a veteran who served in the Army. Fishing, hunting, traveling with his wife, and following the New York Yankees were among the things he enjoyed to do. However; spending time with his grandchildren was what he most loved. A kind and loving man, he will be missed by all who knew him. Surviving Harry are his daughter, Kathleen Wolfe of Shickshinny, granddaughter, Shirley Spencer and her husband, Arif of Beach Haven, other grandchildren: Alesha, Charles, Nicole, Nathan, Atley, and yet to be born number 7, and his twin sister, Carrie Walls of Berwick. As well as his parents, Harry was preceded in death by his dear and loving wife of over 50 years, the former Shirley Balliet, five brothers, four sisters, and granddaughter, Stacey Yeust , wife to Dwayne of Berwick. Harry's funeral is 11: AM Tuesday at the Kelchner-McMichael-Baker Funeral Home, 119-121 E. 3rd St., Berwick. Friends may call from 10:00 AM until time of the service. Pastor Scott Winter of the Berwick Assembly of God Church will serve as the officiant. Entombment will follow at Elan Memorial Park.
