Harold Tustin Farver

Harold Tustin Farver, 50, of Berwick, concluded his journey in this life on Friday, October 4, 2013. Born February 12, 1963 in Berwick, he was the son of the late Harold E.(1984) and Mildred (Pitts) Farver(2011). Harold was a graduate of Berwick High School and Susquehanna University, where he earned a B.S. in Computer Programing. His career was with various branches of the Pennsylvania State Government, most recently he was with the Commission on Crime and Delinquency, where he was instrumental in the development and implementation of the Pennsylvania Megan\'s Law Website. He resided in Lebanon, PA. for numerous years before returning to Berwick in 2009. Harold was a dedicated father; he dearly loved his children and was always very proud of them. In addition to being a jack-of-all-trades, Harold enjoyed cooking, gardening, cats, and reading, especially the history of the ancient Roman empire. He was a member of the Calvary United Methodist Church of Berwick; and had been an adult leader with the Cub Scouts. Surviving are daughter, Julie Lynn Farver, son, Troy Tustin Farver, both residing in Lebanon; three sisters: Janet S. Fenstemaker and husband, Neil, of Mount Joy; and Marcia K. Farver and Karen L. Farver, both of Berwick; niece, Lara R. Fenstemaker of Mountville, and nephew, Scot E. Fenstemaker of York. His funeral service is 11:00 AM Wednesday, October 9, 2013 at the McMichael-Rairigh & Baker Funeral Home, 119-1231 E. 3rd St., Berwick. Friends may call at the funeral home from 10:00 AM until time of the service. Burial will follow at Rose Lawn Cemetery, Berwick.
