Guido Dalto, Jr.

Guido Dalto, Jr., 88 of Berwick, Pennsylvania, passed away at the Gardens at Orangeville, Pennsylvania on Thursday, June 1, 2017. He was born December 12, 1928 in Berwick, Pennsylvania. Guido was a graduate of Berwick Area Senior High School. He was retired from the Pennsylvania Department of Revenue, Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. Guido was a member of St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church in Berwick, the Maria Assunta Society, and the Catholic War Veterans Club. He proudly served in the Army during the years of the Korean War. He enjoyed fishing and playing the daily lottery. Guido is survived by his sister, Ann(Dalto) and brother-in-law, William Heckman of Lakeland, FL., brother-in-law, Robert Felix, Sr., nephew, Robert Felix, Jr., both of Berwick, and nieces, Dina Acri of Harrisburg, Christina Heckman of Lakeland, FL., and Rosemarie Johnson of Scott Depot, WV. He was preceded in death by his mother and father, Guido and Rose Dalto, brother, Vincent Dalto and sister, Rita (Dalto) Felix. Family and friends are invited to a visitation on Tuesday, June 6 from 9am to 10am followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church, 721 Monroe St., Berwick, PA. 18603. Father Dennis Dalessandro will serve as the celebrant. Burial services with military honors will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery, Berwick, PA. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Joseph's Church.
