Glenn E. Mullins, 96 of Berwick, passed away Tuesday, December 10, 2013 at the Berwick Hospital Center, after a lengthy battle with cancer. He was born October 28, 1917 in Schuylkill Haven, PA., a son to the late Charles and Claire (Harvey) Mullins. A graduate of Cressona High School in 1937, he served in the Navy during World War II. Glenn worked as a welder at the AC&F and Berwick Foundry before starting his own TV repair business, which he operated for many years. Pinochle, hunting and fishing trips to Canada, and Florida vacations were among the things he most enjoyed. He and his loving wife of 75 years, the former Jennie George, were true \"Snowbirds.\" As well as his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by his only son, Robert Joseph only a week ago. Surviving are three grandchildren: William Hunter, Robert Mullins, and Christine Kressler, nine great-grandchildren, and four great-great- grandchildren. Graveside services will be held 1:00 PM Tuesday, December 17 at Elan Memorial Park. Pastor Rebecca Broyan of the First Reformed United Church of Christ will serve as th officiant. The McMichael-Rairigh & Baker Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
