Gladys Jean Dohl, 85, of Danville and formerly of Berwick, passed away Tuesday, February 11, 2020 at Geisinger Medical Center in Danville. Born in Bloomsburg November 1, 1934, she was a daughter to the late Joseph and Olive (Farrell) Hall. Gladys was a graduate of Bloomsburg High School, Class of 1952. In August of 1954, she married the love of her life, the late William C. "Bill" Dohl, Sr., who passed in December of 2002. She had worked for Bell Telephone, Berwick Knitting, and in the Cafeteria at the Berwick Hospital. Gladys had attended Emmanuel Bible Chapel. She was a devoted wife and mother who loved spending time with her family. She also enjoyed TV, baking, crochet, Rummikub, and playing cards with her friends. Gladys was also a member of Berwick Elks, B.P.O.E. 1138 Wapiti and in her younger years enjoyed bowling there. Surviving Gladys are her children: Deborah G. Dohl and husband, Aime Arsenault, of MA, William C. Dohl, Jr. of Wapwallopen, and Jeffrey O. Dohl and wife, Dreama Wicklein-Dohl, of Berwick, grandchildren: Brock Dohl and wife, Kristen, Aaron Dohl and wife, Amanda, Tiffany Gregorio and husband, Allen, Nicole Wenner and husband, Kenneth, and Neil Dohl, great-granchildren: Allen, Aiden, Macy, McKenna, Jace, Gavin, Ethan, Addyson, Neil Jr., and Reilynn, and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, Gladys was preceded in death by a great-grandson, Kenny Wenner IV, and brother Raymond A. Hall. A celebration of life will be announced at a later date.
