George A. Garrison

George A. Garrison, 54, of Bloomsburg and formerly of Berwick, passed away November 25, 2024 at his home.  Born in Bristol, PA June 4, 1970, he was a son to the late William C. and Meda E. (Seltzer) Garrison.

George was a graduate of Harry S. Truman High School in Levittown, Class of 1988.  He was a long-time employee of the Berwick Retirement Village.  He enjoyed professional wrestling and playing video games.  George loved spending time with his family, by whom he will be fondly remembered and greatly missed.

George is survived by his brother, Curtis W. Garrison, and a large extended family including cousins:  Cindy Becker and husband, Ed; Susan Heller and husband, Michael, and their children: Rachelle and Michelle; Christopher Becker and wife, Heather, and their children; Joseph Becker and wife, Sara, and their children; David Derr, Jr., and Ralph Crouse.

In addition to his parents, George was preceded in death by aunt and uncle, Margery and Dale Youlls; and cousins:  David Derr, Sr. and Patricia Grosz.

All are welcome to join George’s family for his memorial service 7 PM Saturday, December 7, 2024 at the Kelchner, McMichael & Readler Funeral Home, Inc., 119-121 E. Third Street, Berwick.  George’s cousin, Minister of the Gospel Bradley Seltzer will officiate.  Friends will be received from 5PM until the time of the service at 7 PM.  Memorial contributions in George’s name may be made to the American Diabetes Association, P.O.
