Gary L. Heckman

Gary L. Heckman, 62, of Madison Township, passed away Wednesday, September 23, 2026 at his home. Born in Bloomsburg on October 16, 1963, he was a son of the late Fred D. and Florence M. (Gower) Heckman Sr.

Gary was a graduate of Columbia Montour Area Vocational Technical School, Class of 1981, and proudly served in the United States Navy. He enjoyed working on cars and assembling models.

Surviving Gary are his siblings: Fred R. Heckman Jr. and wife, Kathy, of Espy, and Sharon Seashock and fiancé, Dan Dietterick, of Nescopeck; niece, Judy Fisher; nephews: Isaiah Hays, Andrew Hays, and Joshua Hays; and numerous great nieces and great nephews.

Gary’s services are private and at the convenience of his family. Memorial contributions may be made to his family to help defray final expenses.
