Gary A. Dreisbach, 65 of Berwick, passed away Tuesday, February 3, 2015 at Maria Hall, Danville with his family at his side. He was born March 25, 1949 in Bloomsburg, a son to the late Allan F. Dreisbach and Dolores "Dolly" Berlin. Gary worked as a driver for Wise Foods for thirty-seven years, before retiring. A safe and courteous driver, he amassed over two million safe driving miles while at Wise. He was a former member of the Elks and Teamsters Local 401. After retiring, he enjoyed getting together for breakfast with fellow Wise employees on a regular basis. Woodworking, home repairs, reading, and traveling, especially to the beach, were among the things he enjoyed. He also was a great football and NASCAR fan. Gary was a dedicated and loving man who put his wife and family first. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. Surviving Gary are his loving and caring wife, the former Molly Pettebone, daughter, Heather Dreisbach of Salisbury, MD., son, Chad Dreisbach and his wife, Colleen of Lenhartsville, four year old granddaughter, Sarah, brother, Ray Dreisbach of Benton, and sister, Joy Koban of Bloomsburg. As well as his parents, Gary was preceded in death by a son, Gary J. Dreisbach and a brother, Mark. A celebration of Gary's life will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, February 7, 2015 at the Kelchner-McMichael-Baker Funeral Home, 119-121 E.3rd St., Berwick. Friends may call at the funeral home from 10:00 AM until time of the service. Reverend R. Christian Dunlap Chaplain at Geisinger Columbia Montour Hospice will serve as the celebrant.
