Gary Lee Bell

Gary Lee Bell, 57, formerly of Berwick, passed away Wednesday, December 17, 2014 at Wilkes-Barre General Hospital. He was born May 2, 1957 in Langhorne, a son to the late Vernon and Mildred Bell. Gary lived with his parents in Berwick for many years. He was a member of Calvary United Methodist Church and worked at SunCom Industries in Bloomsburg. Later in life he lived in group homes in Danville and Berwick. He was a resident at the Bonham Nursing Home since September, 2012. Surviving Gary are his sisters: Shelby Bell of Oregon and Joyce Fair of Jeffersonville, a brother, Larry Bell of NY, seven nieces: Karen Peracca, Lori Wilkinson, Kim Tracy, Debbie, Diane, and Heather Fair, and Megan Eshelman, two nephews: Ryan Bell and Glen Fair, and nine great-nieces and nephews. As well as his parents, Gary was preceded in death by a brother, Ronald Bell, and nephew, Lynn Rickert. Gary's funeral is 12:00 PM Monday at the Kelchner-McMichael-Baker Funeral Home, 119-121 E. 3rd St., Berwick. Friends may call at the funeral home from 11:00 AM until time of the service. Burial will follow at Pine Grove Cemetery. Pastor Dennis McCracken of Calvary United Methodist Church will serve as the officiant.
