Fred G. Ruckle

Fred G. Ruckle, 64, formerly of Shickshinny, passed away Monday, December 22, 2014 at Berwick Retirement Village I, where he was a resident. He was born February 18, 1950 in Nanticoke, the son of Glenwood and Grace (Smith) Ruckle. Fred was a friendly and loving man who enjoyed shopping, playing bingo, and reading. He also made books, especially ones about football, particularly the Dallas Cowboys, of whom he was a passionate fan. His family was most important to him. He will be greatly missed, but never forgotten. Surviving Fred are his mother, Grace Ruckle of Berwick, sister, Sherida Ruckle of KY., nieces, Jennifer and Jessica Robbins also of KY., two great-nieces, and one great-nephew. Preceding Fred in death was his father, Glenwood. Services for Fred are private and at the convenience of the family.
