Frances E. Puckett, 91 of Berwick, died Saturday, September 12, 2015 at Geisinger Medical Center Danville. She was born January 31, 1924 in Berwick, a daughter to the late Luther and Alverna (Miller) Erdman. Frances worked at the former Magee Carpet Company in Bloomsburg, Lady Esther in Berwick, and US Radium in Almedia before retiring. She was an active member of Calvary United Methodist Church, where she served in many ways including treasurer of WSCS for many years. She also was a member of the Senior Circle. Crocheting, doing word search, reading, especially spiritual and inspirational material, and playing games were among the things she enjoyed doing. Frances was a real family and people person. She will be deeply missed by everyone who knew and loved her. Surviving Frances are her daughter, Marie Rebuck and her husband, Don of Bloomsburg, son, Kenneth Morris and his wife, Millie of VT., five grandchildren: Wanda, Eric, Chris, Julie and John, and seven great-grandchildreen. As well as her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband of fifty-two years, Charles R. Puckett, Sr. on September 12, 2008, seven years to-the-day before Frances. Also preceding were three sisters: Irene, Alverna Belle, and Marie and seven brothers: Charles, Ernest, Oliver, Edward, John, Robert, and Henry. Her funeral service is 1:00 PM Tuesday at Calvary United Methodist Church, 1135 Orange St., Berwick. Pastors Dennis McCracken and Byron Krapt will serve as the officiants. Friends may call at the church from noon until time of the service. Burial will follow at Elan Memorial Park, Lime Ridge.
