Frances "Fran" M. (Greenley) Fought Seidle, 98, of Bloomsburg, passed away peacefully Wednesday, February 7, 2018 at Signature Health Care Bloomsburg. Born in Roselle Park, N.J. March 23, 1919, she was a daughter to the late Paul W. and Sara (Custer) Greenley. Fran attended the former Scott High School in Espy. Her interests included cooking and gardening. In 1986 she was baptized as one of Jehovah's Witnesses and became actively involved in and truly had a love for the public ministry. Fran personally helped many neighbors and friends by teaching them about the Bible's wonderful hope for the future. She was a member of the Bloomsburg Congregation. Fran was a kind and loving woman who will be greatly missed by her family and everyone who was fortunate enough to have known her. Surviving Fran are sons: Thomas L. Fought and wife, Betsy of Orangeville, Britt P. Fought and wife, Nancy of Espy, and Scott D. Fought of Espy, daughters: Betty Lou Williams and husband, Barry of Shermans Dale and Dorothy Zembower and husband, Zachary of Boalsburg, 14 grandchildren, numerous great and great-great-grandchildren, daughter-in-law, Louise Fought, and sister-in-law, Blanche Breisch. Preceding Fran in death were husbands: Thomas F. Fought (3/7/1960) and Clarence E. Seidle (9/15/2000), son, Donald E. "Butch" Fought (2/22/2000), granddaughter, Tracey O'Brien, brothers: Donald and Jack Greenley, and sisters: Elanor Barnes, Doris Schultz, Betty C. Kocher, and Nancy Waltman. All are welcome to a celebration of Fran's life 4:00 PM Sunday, February 18, 2018 at the Mifflinville Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, West Street, Mifflinville. Glen Kurzawa will preside at the memorial service.
