Faye Jean (English) Reider

Faye English Reider Loving, Mother who cherished every moment spent with her family. Faye Jean English Reider, 82, passed December 2, 2016 at her home of 52 years in Berwick, surrounded by her family and friends. A much loved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Faye will be fondly remembered for her unfailing love, endearing personality, generosity of spirit. She was a devoted friend to many. An exceptionally devoted Christian, she worshipped and served over 50 years at the Berwick Assembly of God. Her family and friends were blessed by Faye's extraordinary Christian life. She truly expressed her walk with Christ through her devotion and prayer to the church. She was able to lend her nursing experience on a mission trip to Equator in July 1992. Born in Blossburg, PA, Faye was the loving daughter of the late Clinton and Margret Roupe English. She was a graduate of Liberty High School, PA in 1953. She trained for three years at Clearfield Hospital School of Nursing, in Clearfield, PA, becoming a Registered Nurse in 1956. Faye began her nursing career in Clearfield, PA and continued for over 32 years at the Berwick Hospital in the nursery and delivery room. Later, she focused on pediatrics until her retirement in May, 1996. She is survived by her adoring husband of 52 years, Curtis Reider. Also surviving are four of her five children; son Gregg Lewis and wife Diane of Berwick; Lori Cukjati and husband Jack of Pensacola, FL; daughter Shelly Reider and companion Brian of Berwick; son Kurt Reider and wife Bridget of Berwick; 14 grandchildren: Lauren, Lindsey, Lydia, Lewis, Justin Lewis and wife Tiffany, Alexis Fischer and husband Jason, Theron W. Rood; Jacob and Matthew Cukjati, Natalie Cukjati Smith and husband William; Sarah Hess, Cortney Sparks and husband Chase; Kelsea Fetterman and husband Walker; Tiffany Moser and husband Bill; Devin Reider; ten great-grandchildren; sister, Peggy English Summerson Yoder of Lancaster; and brother, Larry English of Arizona. In addition to wonderful memories, Faye's beloved daughter T.C. preceded her through heaven's gate almost 3 years ago. T.C. was survived by her husband, Jim Hess, of Berwick. In addition, Faye was preceded in death by her first husband, Cecil I. Lewis in May, 1962 and his brother, Amos Lewis in November of 2000, both of Clearfield, PA., brother, Donald English, survived by wife, Doris of NC, and sister, Beverly Aloisio, survived by husband, Fred of Williamsport. Faye's viewing will be held at the Berwick Assembly of God on Wednesday, December 7 at 10:00 AM until the time of the service at 12:00 noon. Interment is in Elan Memorial Park, Old Berwick Road, Bloomsburg. Pastor Steve Potutschnig will serve as the officiant.
