Elizabeth M. "Betty" DiBattista, 94, of Berwick, passed away Saturday, August 11, 2018 at Berwick Retirement Village I. She was born May 19, 1924 in Danville, a daughter to the late William F. and Ella K. (Pentz) Seesholtz. Betty worked for years at the Wise Potato Chip Company before retiring. She was a loyal member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Berwick. Watching QVC, her cats, playing solitaire, and baking were among the things Betty enjoyed. However, Betty's greatest joy was the time spent with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Surviving Betty are two sons: Anthony DiBattista and Thomas DiBattista and wife, Amy, all of Berwick, grandchildren: Susan Hossler, Anthony DiBattista, and Adam DiBattista, great-grandchildren: Alexandra Chapin, Ashley Chapin, C. J. Hossler, Thomas DiBattista, and Colin DiBattista, and brother, Allen "Skip" Seesholtz, Sr.. Betty was preceded in death in 2000 by her loving husband of over 50 years, John J. DiBattista. Also preceding were siblings: William "Bill" Seesholtz and Leslie Seesholtz. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11:00 AM Friday, August 17, 2018 by Fr. Matthew Larlick at St. Joseph Catholic Church , 721 Monroe Street, Berwick. Friends may call at the church from 10:00 AM until time of the mass. Burial will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery.
