Dorothy A. (Tobin) Kennedy

Dorothy A. “Dot” (Tobin) Kennedy, 77, of Berwick passed away Wednesday, December 9, 2020 in her home.  Born in Bronxville, NY on September 27, 1943, she was a daughter to the late Tom Tobin and Wilburta Gardner.

Dorothy had been a realtor, having worked for both Re/Max and Coldwell Banker.  She had also worked as a commissary administrator in a correctional facility.  Dot loved visiting casinos and playing card games.  She also enjoyed traveling, dining out at restaurants, and volunteering at the senior center.  Her greatest joy, however, was her family.  She was a fiercely loyal mother to her children, who will fondly remember her as the strong woman that she was.

Surviving Dot are her daughters:  Shannon T. Kennedy and wife, Julie, of West Wyoming, Denise Fetterolf and husband, Thomas, of Berwick, Robin Maset and husband, Marc, of Berwick, and Christine Pittman and husband, Dale, of FL; grandchildren:  Elizabeth Bankes, Stephen Sitler, Nichole Lewis, Marc Maset, and Tyler Samanas; great-grandchildren:  Gia Lewis, Noah Lewis, Zebadiah Bankes, Xander Bankes, and Colson Sitler; and sister, Judith Ragnone.

In addition to her parents, Dorothy was preceded in death by her loving husband of 38 years, Mr. Dennis J. Kenedy III, who passed on January 20, 2015.

All are welcome to join Dorothy's family for her visitation from 11:00 AM-12:00 noon Saturday, February 20, 2021 at Kelchner, McMichael & Readler Funeral Home, Inc., 119-121 E. Third Street, Berwick.  Her graveside service will be at 12:30 PM Saturday, February 20, 2021 at Rose Lawn Cemetery, West Front Street, Berwick.  Pastor Mike Delp, Commonwealth Home Health and Hospice Chaplain, will officiate.  Memorial contributions in her name can be made to Dogs for Better Lives, 10175 Wheeler Road Central Point, OR 97502.  Online messages of love and support can be left at www.kelchnerfuneralhome.com.
