Donna graduated from Mount Carmel Catholic High School in 1962. She graduated with honors, was captain of the cheerleading team, and was a member of the Future Nurses of America club. Donna worked at Shamokin State General Hospital Center for several years and then at the Berwick Hospital Center until 2011, when medical conditions forced her to retire. While working at the Berwick Hospital, she also worked for Stat Nurse, Inc. doing private duty. After retiring, she took care of her Aunt Helen until her passing.
Donna enjoyed teaberry and chocolate marshmallow ice cream and chocolate shakes with whipped cream. She loved being with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Donna was preceded in death by her brother, David Philips of Northampton, and her ex-husband, Kenneth Midway.
