Donald Z. Kishbach, 80, of North Centre Township, passed away peacefully with his family at his side Monday, March 10, 2013 at his residence. He was born March 29, 1933 in Berwick, a son to the late Ralph E. and Hazel C.( Lewis) Kishbach. A machinist, he worked for 41 years at U. S. Radium in South Centre Township before retiring. Donald enjoyed ham radio, fishing, hunting, model airplanes and crossword puzzles. He served as Scoutmaster for Boy Scout Troop 11 in North Centre Township, was a volunteer for the Columbia County EMS, and an active member of the North Centre Township Historical Society. Helping his father breed and train champion beagles at Cabin Run Kennels was another interest that gave him much joy. Surviving are his loving wife of 58 years, the former Marilyn Gay Shields, son, Zane and his wife, Gayle of Berwick, 4 daughters: Beth Ann Norton and her husband, Malcolm of Berwick, Vicki Clapper and her husband, Martin of Reading, Georgia Kile of Stillwater, and Amber Daily and her husband, Stephen of Berwick, 13 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, and sisters, Florence and June Preceding Donald in death were 2 brothers, Edwin and Robert and 2 sisters, Anna and Hazel. Donald's funeral is 11:00 AM Friday, March 14 at Ebenezer Faith Bible Church, Berwick Road (Rt. 93), Orangeville. His pastor, George Lee will serve as the officiant. A private burial will follow at Elan Memorial Park.
