Dawn Marie (Grozier) Harmon

Dawn Marie Harmon, 81, of Berwick, passed away at her home on Wednesday, February 21, 2018. Born in Berwick on February 13, 1937, she was a daughter to the late Delmar and Elmira (Carey) Grozier. Dawn was a graduate of Berwick High School, Class of 1956. She had been employed by Wise Foods for 43 years, working there until her retirement in 1999. Mrs. Harmon was a kind woman who gave generously of her time. She volunteered with the Red Cross, Meals on Wheels, and the Salvation Army. She also enjoyed spending time with her friends; playing Pokeno and Bingo. Her greatest joy, however, was her family, by whom she will be greatly missed. Surviving Dawn is son: Rick Harmon of Berwick, daughter: Debbie Bennett and husband, Rick, of Berwick, grandchildren: Krista Hart and husband, Shane, of Scranton, Tanner Harmon, Macy Harmon, and Perri Harmon, all of Bloomsburg, great-grandson: Evan Hart, brother: Barrie Grozier and wife, Saundra, of NY, and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Dawn was preceded in death by stepdaughter: Larraine Kreischer and brothers: Robert, Wilbur, and Richard Grozier. All are welcome to join Dawn's family for her memorial service at 11:00 A.M. on Monday, February 26 at the Kelchner-McMichael-Baker Funeral Home, 119-121 East Third Street, Berwick. Reverend Richard Dennison of the First United Church of Christ, Nescopeck, will officiate.
