David B. Robinholt

David B. Robinholt, 62, of Nescopeck, passed away Sunday, February 19, 2017, into the loving arms of his Lord and Savior. He was surrounded by family and friends at the time of his passing. Dave was born May 1, 1954 in Berwick, a son to Bill and Margaret (Denn) Robinholt. A graduate of Berwick High School in 1972 and Bloomsurg University in 1977, he then began a 17 year career teaching in the Berwick School District. Dave then served the next 11 years as a principal in the Danville School District. Dave coached the Berwick Girls Softball and Track Teams during his tenure there. He was an active member of the Berwick Assembly of God Church where he served as the Church Financial Administrator. He also served as a Nescopeck Township Supervisor for 14 years and was an active member of the McBride Memorial Library Board. As well as his parents, Dave is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, the former Barbara Miller. Also surviving are daughters: Carolyn Superko and husband, Jerry of Nescopeck and Jill Robinholt and fiancé, Drew Bottaro of Lansdale, grandchildren: Brady and Emmy Superko, and numerous nieces and nephews. Dave loved spending time with his family and friends, golfing, fishing, and most importantly, serving his Lord and Savior. He will be sorely missed by all who knew and loved him. A viewing will be held 9:00-11:00 AM Wednesday at the Berwick Assembly of God Church, 801 E. 5th St., Berwick. Dave's funeral will follow immediately after the viewing. Pastor Steve Potutschnig will serve as the officiant. Burial will follow at St. James Cemetery, Zenith. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that donations in Dave's memory be made to the Berwick Assembly of God.
