David F. Moser

David F. “Skeeter” Moser, 68, of Nescopeck, passed away Thursday, December 24, 2020 at Geisinger Medical Center in Danville.  Born in Nescopeck on February 4, 1952, he was a son to the late Frank D. Moser and Beverly Dawn (Benjamin) Mowery.

Dave attended Berwick Area Schools.  He had worked at Drue Chapin & Sons Farms and drove truck for NorthEast Trucking in Mountain Top.  Dave always enjoyed visiting with his friends.  He was an avid outdoorsman who liked to hunt and fish.  He also enjoyed the Susquehanna Riverlands, where he would take his grandchildren bicycling and fishing.  His greatest joy was his time spent with his family, by whom he will be deeply missed.

David is survived by a daughter:  Brenda Steinruck and husband, Zack, of Nescopeck; grandchildren:  Madison Steinruck, Aiden Steinruck, and Braxton Steinruck; sister:  Rose Paige of Berwick; brother:  Bill Moser and wife, Rhonda, of Stillwater; and his beloved dogs:  Licky and Sticky.

In addition to his parents, David was preceded in death by his brother, Charles Moser.
