David M. Stout

David M. Stout, 61 of Berwick, passed away peacefully Monday, March 7, 2016 at his home, surrounded by his family and loved ones. He was born March 6, 1955 in Danville, a son to the late Doyle and Grace L. (McHenry) Stout. A graduate of Central Columbia High School, Dave worked for years as a mechanic for the Consolidated Container Corporation until November, 2015. He was passionate about hunting and the Philadelphia Eagles. His interests also included NASCAR and woodworking, at which he was quite accomplished. Surviving Dave is his loving companion of 13 years, Margaret L. Folta and her three children: Cory Robbins of AZ., John Folta of GA., and Laura Folta of CA., two daughters: Valarie L. Johnson and husband, Chris of Bloomsburg and Jillian Welch and husband, Shawn of Berwick, sister, Sandra L. Stout of Allentown, brother, Doyle Terry Stout and his wife, Denise of Benton, grandchildren: Tanner, Conner, Mackenzie, Emily, and Dakota, long-time friend, Alan Yachimowski, faithful companion dog, Sadie and cat: Church. Mr. Jay Johnson will serve as the officiant at David's funeral service 7:00 PM Wednesday, March 9th at the Kelchner-McMichael-Baker Funeral Home, 119-121 E. 3rd St., Berwick. Friends may call at the funeral home from 5:00 PM until time of the service.
