Clark L. Diehl, 83, of Berwick, passed away peacefully Saturday October 3, 2020 at his home, with his wife, Peggy, at his side. Born in Danville July 27, 1937, he was a son to the late William and Iola (Campbell) Diehl.
Clark was a graduate of Berwick High School, Class of 1956, and then proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy. He was a longtime employee of Milco in Berwick. Clark also enjoyed working as a ride operator at Knoebel’s Amusement Resort. A man of great faith, he was a member of Berwick Assembly of God. He was also a USO member. Clark was an avid card player. His greatest joy, however, was his family and time spent with it, especially camping.
Surviving Clark is his loving wife, Peggy (DeWalt) Kramer Diehl. Also surviving are his children: Cindy Knowles and husband, Joe, and Wiliam Paul Kramer III; grandchildren: Erica Rayne and husband, Frank, and Joe Knowles II and wife, Tommie Sue; great-grandchildren: Gage Knowles, Colton Knowles, Landri Knowles, and Jonathon Knowles and wife, Jessica, great-great-grandson: Evan Knowles; siblings: Walter Diehl, Dan Diehl and wife, Leisa, Ann Hassinger, Ken Diehl and wife, Debbie, Liz Reynolds and husband, Bob, Wilma Litz, and Margaret Moore; brother-in-law: Fred DeWalt; sisters-in-law: Chris Diehl and Katie DeWalt; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In addition to his parents, Clark was preceded in death by grandsons: William Paul Kramer IV and Howard William Kramer; brothers: Dale and Jack Diehl and John and Arden Strouse, sister: Ada Stahl; brothers-in-law: Richard DeWalt and Ron DeWalt; and sisters-in-law: Joyce DeWalt and Nancy DeWalt.
All are welcome to join Clark's family for his memorial service 11:00 AM Saturday, November 14, 2020 at Berwick Assembly of God, 801 E. 5th Street, Berwick. Pastor Scott Winter will officiate.
