Charles Wesley Fish, 81, formerly of Berwick, died Sunday, April 22, 2018 at Geisinger Medical Center Danville. He was born February 6, 1937 in Berwick, a son to the late Marion Joseph and Anna (Bigins) Fish. Charles retired from the United States Air Force June 30, 1976 after 20 years of service including two tours in Vietnam. He was a lifetime member of both the American Legion and the Veterans of Foreign Wars. He enjoyed spending time with his granddaughters, especially watching and cheering them on during their many sports activities. He always checked to make sure their homework was complete and beamed with pride at each and every report card. Charles brightened his family's lives more than he knew and will be dearly missed by all who knew him. Surviving Charles is survived his son, Christopher Fish and wife, Christina of Danville. Also surviving are grandchildren: Caillie and Colleen of Danville, sisters: Corrine Matash and husband, David of Berwick and Ceola Coleman and husband, James of Berwick, and brother, Craig Fish of NY. As well as his parents, Charles was preceded in death by sisters: Carol, Carlotta and Marion and brother: Robert. A Liturgy for the Soul will be performed by Father Roman Petryshak 11:00 AM Wednesday, May 2nd at Ss. Cyril and Methodius Ukranian Church, 706 N. Warren Street, Berwick. Burial will follow at Pine Grove Cemetery, Walnut Street Berwick. A combined military group will provide full military honors.
