Catherine M. Lee

Catherine M. \"Kay\" (Wagner) Lee, 92, of Lomita, California, passed away Friday, January 10, 2014 at the Torrence Memorial Medical Center, Torrence, California. She was born July 24, 1921 in Mifflinville, a daughter to the late Ivan and Cora (Vought) Wagner. A member of the Berwick High School Class of 1939, she worked as the secretary of the Berwick YMCA from 1939 until 1941. During World War II she worked at the Berwick ACF. After the war, she worked as an executive secretary in Baltimore until retiring in 1961. Kay resided in Lomita, California for over forty years. As well as her parents, she was preceded in death on December 14, 1985 by her loving husband of twenty-four years, Charles Howard Lee and her sister, Ruth Amelia Stevens on June 26, 1989. Surviving are two sisters: Lois Seesholtz of Lime Ridge and Evelyn, wife to Dennis Hemstreet of Missouri and numerous nieces and nephews. Her funeral is 1:00 PM Friday, January 17 at the McMichael-Rairigh & Baker Funeral Home, 119-121 East Third Street, Berwick. Friends may call at the funeral home from 12:00 PM until time of the service. Pastor Douglas Lyon of Shiloh Bible Church will serve as the officiant. Burial will follow at Elan Memorial Park.
