Carole G. Hatter

Carole G. Hatter, 83, of Muncy, passed away peacefully Thursday, October 1, 2020 in Douglassville with family at her side.  Born in Ashland December 25, 1936, she was a daughter to the late Grace Strunk and adoptive parents William H. and Virginia L. (Werner) Hatter.

She was a graduate of the Abington Nursing School.

Carole served as an Air Force Nurse and was a First Lieutenant in the U.S. Air Force, serving from 1958-1962.  Following her honorable discharge, she was a Registered Nurse for the Veterans Administration in Coatesville, PA, from which she retired in 1980.

Carole is survived by her 4 siblings and many nieces and nephews.

At Carole’s request, services will be private and at the convenience of the family, with her interment to be at Pine Grove Cemetery, Walnut Street, Berwick.  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to a library of the donor’s choice.  The Kelchner, McMichael & Readler Funeral Home, Inc., Berwick, is honored to serve the Hatter family.  Online messages of love and support can be left at www.kelchnerfuneralhome.com.
