Brian Lee Beaver

August 9, 1967 — December 13, 2024

Berwick

Brian Lee Beaver, 57, of Berwick, passed away unexpectedly at Geisinger Medical Center in Danville on December 13th, 2024.  Brian was born in Bloomsburg on August 9th, 1967.  He was a son of Charles “Jim” and Joyce (Coombe) Beaver.

He was a 1987 graduate of Berwick Area High School, where he was a standout wrestler.  His passions were fishing, playing wiffle ball with his friends (to beat his brothers, which he did so most times).  He was an avid Pittsburg Steeler and NY Mets fan.   He was employed by American Paper & Supply, Inc. in Berwick for 18 years and loved working with the guys there, along with the ones he met along his daily travels.  A lot of his friends referred to him as “The Weather Man”.

In addition to his parents, Brian is survived by brother, Rod (Tammy); sister, Diane (Jerry); brother, Scott (Tracy); a nephew and nieces:  Jason, Brittany, Erica, Allyson, Alexandria, and Victoria; and several great nieces and nephews.  He also had many, many friends, and not one enemy.

A Celebration of Life will be held Tuesday, December 17, 2024 at 1 PM at Anomaly Craft Brewing on Front Street in Berwick.  Brian would want all who attend to bring stories of his adventures and many memories.  Please come in casual attire or your favorite team casual attire.  Stop in for a toast and a bite.  In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Brian’s gofundme at https://www.gofundme.com/f/remembering-brian-a-kind-soul?qid=434fee6df9689e8803fef57858c2c60d or to a charity of choice, in Brian’s name.  The Kelchner, McMichael & Readler Funeral Home, Inc. is honored to serve the Beaver family.  Online messages of comfort and support may be left at www.kelchnerfuneralhome.com.
