Arthur W. Meier, 81, of Berwick, died peacefully at his home Saturday, April 19, 2025. Born in Jersey City, NJ on September 24, 1943, he was a son to the late Henry and Stella (Ujazdowski) Meier.
Mr. Meier was a graduate of Columbia High School in Maplewood, NJ, Class of 1961. He proudly served in the US Army. On December 11, 1967, he wed the love of his life, the former Anna Bulkiewicz, with whom he would raise his family and share 57 years of marriage. For more than 35 years, he worked as a lineman; starting with Bell Telephone and ending with Verizon, from which he retired in 1997. He was a life member of the NRA and a proud member of the IBEW. Arthur was a life-long supporter of, and advocate for, the Boy Scouts of America, having earned Eagle Scout and the Bronze, Gold, and Silver Palms. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending time at his cabin. His greatest joy, however, was his beloved family and the treasured moments spent with them.
