Arthur W. Johnson

Arthur W. “Art” Johnson, 67, of Lime Ridge, passed away peacefully Thursday, August 6, 2026, at his home and with his family at his side. Born in Levittown on February 14, 1959, he was a son to the late Harold D. and Joyce M. (Voigtsberger) Johnson.

Art attended Pennsbury schools. On October 15, 1977, he wed the love of his life, the former Deborah A. Stiltenpole, with whom he would raise his family and share 48 years of marriage. Art was a long-time employee of Frank Martz Coach Co. and enjoyed working on cars and equipment, as well as watching horror films. More than anything, he treasured time spent with his beloved family, by whom he will be greatly missed.

Surviving Art are his wife, Deborah A. (Stiltenpole) Johnson; children Daniel R. Johnson and wife, Shannon A., of Berwick and Dawn M. Sopkanich and husband, Jonathan F., of Berwick; grandchildren: Riley K. Johnson and Bryce D. Johnson; siblings: David H. Johnson of Bloomsburg, Jill A. Roach of Berwick, and Lynne M. Masker of Wapwallopen; mother-in-law, Emily Stiltenpole; sister-in-law, Sharon Ginnetti; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In addition to his parents, Art was preceded in death by son, Michael J. Johnson, who passed away October 31, 1998. He was also preceded in death by sister, Lori R. Cottman, and father-in-law, George Stiltenpole.

Art’s services are private and at the convenience of his family with his interment at St. James Cemetery in Bendertown. Art’s family would like to thank Geisinger Hospice for the exceptional care provided to him.
