Anna P. Gause

Anna P. (LaVelle) Gause, 78, of Sterling Avenue, Berwick, died Friday, March 11, 2016 at her home. Born May 4, 1937 in Medford, Massachusetts, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Meda (Patterson) LaVelle. She was preceded in death by her husband, Karl A. Gause, Sr., of 44 years, on October 13, 2000. Mrs. Gause was the office manager at Boyer's IGA in Berwick for many years. Surviving are her four children: Karl A. Gause, Jr., Berwick and his companion, Deborah Huffert, of Sunbury; Cindy Vought and her husband, Dennis, of Berwick; Michael T. Gause and his wife, Kathy, of Berwick; Kurt F. Gause and his wife, Jenny, of Bloomsburg. Also surviving are six grandchildren: Erica and Christopher Gause; Dennis Vought, Jr., and Heidi Collins; Jarrett Bywater and Audra Gause; six great grandchildren: Robby, Eliza, Lilly, Zander, Zane and Noah; two sisters: Rita Muzzarol and Marie Battinelli as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Along with her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters: Joann Bove and Vickie McClullan. Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, March 16th, 2016 at 11 AM at the Kelchner-McMichael-Baker Funeral Home, 119-121 East Third Street, Berwick, with the Rev. Susan Knorr, officiating. Burial will be in the Rose Lawn Cemetery, Berwick. A viewing will be held Wednesday morning from 10 AM until the time of the service at 11 at the Funeral Home.
