Angeline E. George

Angeline E. George, 86, of Berwick, passed away peacefully at Maria Hall in Danville Wednesday, October 9, 2013. She was born April 10, 1927 in Berwick, the daughter of the late Henry and Erma (Martini) Dellegrotti. Angeline worked for twelve years at Milco Industries before attending the Empire Beauty School, after which she opened and ran Angie\\\\\\\'s Beauty Salon in Berwick for a number of years before retiring. She was a member of St. Joseph Church in Berwick and participated in the Senior Circle, Curves, and Fuel Fitness programs. Surviving Angie are her daughter, Mary Jo Hodgkins and her husband, Ronald of Florida, sister, Phyllis DiBattista of Berwick, step-brothers: Philip Dellegrotti of Bethlehem, Daniel Dellegrotti of California, and Louis Dellegrotti of Berwick, granddaughter, Marissa, grandson, Brandon and numerous nieces and nephews. As well as her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband, Joseph in 2008 and a grandson, Ryan. A Mass for Christian Burial will be celebrated 10 am Saturday, October 12 at St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church, 721 Monroe Street, Berwick. Father Dennis Dalessandro will serve as the officiant. Interment will follow at Elan Memorial Park.
