Andrew Peter Protsko

Andrew Peter Protsko, 28, originally of Berwick, most recently of Danville, passed away suddenly on December 20, 2016. Born June 26, 1988 to David and Susan (Sheats) Protsko of Berwick, Andrew was a 2006 graduate of Central Columbia High School and a 2010 graduate of Bloomsburg University with a degree in Mass Communication. He also was a member of Lime Ridge United Methodist Church. Andrew was a kind, patient, supportive person who valued his family and friends. He was a talented graphic designer and voice artist with a wonderful, witty sense of humor. Andrew was passionate about his work in film, design, and editing. He was previously employed by Sykes and Keystone Bingo before working at Bloomsburg University as a Video Production Specialist, which was his joy. He loved working with his friends on Nerdstrodamus, a weekly gaming talk show, and spending time with his cat. He had aspirations of being a voice actor. In addition to his parents, Andrew is lovingly remembered and cherished by his sister, Tara (Protsko) DeMelfi and husband, Christopher, of Bloomsburg; grandparents Lola and Louis Sheats, of Berwick ; girlfriend, Lindsey Charbonneau of Danville ; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Andrew particularly loved spending time with his two newest cousins, Kaylie and Charlee. With Andrew are his grandparents, Peter and Mary Protsko, and his uncle, Mark Opatt. Visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 PM on Thursday, December 22 at the Lime Ridge United Methodist Church, 6405 4th Street, Bloomsburg, PA. Andrew's funeral will be 11:00 AM Friday at the church. Pastor Vince Keister will serve as officiant. Interment will follow at Ss. Cyril and Methodious Ukrainian Cemetery, Dickson Street, Berwick. In lieu of flowers, donations in Andrew's memory may be made to the American Heart Association, 7272 Greenville Ave, Dallas, TX 75231 ; the Pennsylvania SPCA, 350 E. Erie Avenue, Philadelphia, PA 19134; Children's Miracle Network, 205 West 700 South, Salt Lake City Utah, 84101 ; or the Salvation Army, 320 West Second Street, Berwick, PA 18601.
