Allen ´Skip´ Fredrick Seesholtz

Allen Fredrick "Skip" Seesholtz, 84, of Berwick, passed away peacefully Friday, May 24, 2019 at Providence Place Senior Living Drums. He was born January 27, 1935 in Danville, a son to the late William and Ella (Pentz) Seesholtz. . For most of his adult life Skip was the owner-operator of Allen F. Seesholtz, Inc. trucking company. He had a passion for his beloved dogs and also enjoyed cars, boating, and water skiing at his lake house in Dubois. Skip was a sergeant in the Marine Corps and served in Korea during the conflict of the early 1950's. He was a member of the Shickshinny VFW and worshipped at St. Mary's Church in Berwick. Surviving Skip are 2 daughters: Tracey Ryan and husband, William III of SC and Wendy Kupsky and husband, Shane of Berwick, son, Allen Seesholtz of Berwick, 7 grandchildren: Cailan, William and Conner Ryan, Casey Seesholtz, and Greysen, Gia, and Gresham Kupsky, great-grandsons, Xavier and Luca Ryan and Sage Contreras. As well as his parents, he was preceded in death in 2014 by his loving wife of almost fifty years, the former Theresa Yvonne Stoico. Additionally preceding were daughter, Debra, brothers: Leslie and William, and sister, Elizabeth. Skip was a kind and loving husband, father, grandfather and friend who will be greatly missed by everyone who knew him. Visitation is 10:00-11:00 AM Friday, May 31, 2019 at the Kelchner-McMichael-Baker Funeral Home, 119-121 East 3rd Street, Berwick. Allen's funeral will immediately follow visitation. The Very Reverend Francis J. Tamburro, V.F. will serve as the officiant. Burial with full military honors will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery. Donations in Allen's memory may be sent to the Alzheimer's Association, 225 N. Michigan Ave., Floor 17, Chicago, IL. 60601.
