Allan L. Vandermark, 70, of Bloomsburg, passed away peacefully Friday, October 30, 2020 in his home and with his family at his side. Born in Berwick on April 21, 1950, he was a son to the late Ray and Claire (Henrie) Vandermark.
Allan was a graduate of Berwick High School, Class of 1968. He had been employed by Wise Foods for 17 years and, afterward, by K-Fab for 26 years. Allan was a hardworking and loyal employee. He enjoyed camping, NASCAR, drinking beer, and attending his grandchildren’s football games. His favorite pastime, however, was spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Surviving Allan are his children: Lexie Andrews and husband, James, of Berwick and Allan B. Vandermark of Berwick; grandchildren: Eric Andrews Vandermark and wife, Kelsey, Skilar Andrews, Courtney Piestrak, Alyssa Vandermark, Gabriel Vandermark, A.J. Vandermark, Mason Vandermark, Liam Vandermark, and Landon Vandermark; and great-grandchildren: Peyton Andrews, Cole Andrews, Nevaeh Andrews, and Jupiter Piestrak.
In addition to his parents, Allan was preceded in death by his loving wife of 35 years, Vivian I. (Markle) Vandermark, who passed away December 12, 2006.

Third Street, Berwick and his graveside service 11:00 AM Thursday, November 5 at Pine Grove Cemetery, Walnut Street, Berwick. Pastor Chad Hebrink of Grace Lutheran Church, Berwick, will officiate.
